WAR MAGE

In the far north of Avren-Yar, a war rages along the borders of the Western Imperium, as it fights back against constant incursions by the Crimson Conclave and the Hrul Empire. At stake: Aether wells—weak spots in the Veil between the seen and unseen worlds from which Aether is extracted, producing the rare elemental energy that powers magic throughout the Five Realms. To prosecute this endless conflict, the Imperium drafts any youth who shows the slightest talent for wielding Aether when they come of age. These conscripts endure brutal training that hones their ability to wield Aether as a war mage.

WAR MAGE is a combat-focused TTRPG in which players portray squads of Imperium war mages and line infantry as they wage constant battle against endless waves of invaders. Combat is fast and deadly, involving not only melee and ranged attacks, but also duels between rival war golems--devastating, rune-bound weapons of war that tower over battlefields.
